Firstly, the heavy storm occurred. We have got a very cold spring festival in February.

Secondly, the big earthquake occurred in Wenchuan. Many people lost their houses, families, even though lives. May 12th, we should remember this day.

Thirdly, melamine has been detected in milk. It caused that many babies have had renal calculus. What a pity! I hope they become healthy in the future.

Fourthly, the tsunami of finance came from America. Companies were closed, people lost their jobs.

There were too many bad things in 2008. But it had some good news. That is the Beijing Olympic Games has been celebrated successfully. Congratulations!

This year, I felt so happiness and lucky, because I found her, my girlfriend, Shirley Huang. I will get marry with her next year. There are many things needed to be prepared. Our house, wedding, journey and so on.

But today, I tried it. Try to drink milk which will make me vomit. I just told myself, there were no water, no cola, no juice and any other else can be drank. And tell myself I must drink milk even though I unlike it. I succeeded. I drank a bottle of milk but I do not vomit.

After work, I went home as usual. A girl accosted me on the way. She said that she has not eaten anything and wanted me to give her some money or buy her some food. I found that there were only one hundred point five Yuan in my pocket. So we went into a “7-11” store. And then I brought her some curry fish eggs and brought myself a bottle of juice. I spent nine Yuan for them.

After we left the store, she followed me and said that she needed some money to have a sleep at a rest house. So I gave her ten Yuan. But she said that was not enough but twenty Yuan to sleep overnight at a rest house. I had no choice but to give her ten Yuan again.
