<description><![CDATA[      十年春，齐师伐我。公将战。曹刿请见。其乡人曰：“肉食者谋之，又何间焉？”刿曰：“肉食者鄙，未能远谋。”乃入见。问：“何以战？”公曰：“衣食所安，弗敢专也，必以分人。”对曰：“小惠未遍，民弗从也。”公曰：“牺牲玉帛，弗敢加也，必以信。”对曰：“小信未孚，神弗福也。”公曰：“小大之狱，虽不能察，必以情。”对曰：“忠之属也，可以一战。战则请从。” <br>      公与之乘。战于长勺。公将鼓之，刿曰：“未可。”齐人三鼓，刿曰：“可矣。”齐师败绩。公将驰之。刿曰：“未可。”下视其辙，登轼而望之，曰：“可矣。”遂逐齐师。<br>      既克，公问其故。对曰：“夫战，勇气也，一鼓作气，再而衰，三而竭。彼竭我盈，故克之。夫大国，难测也，惧有伏焉。吾视其辙乱，望其旗靡，故逐之。”<br>      译：鲁庄公十年的春天，齐国的军队攻打鲁国，鲁庄公将要迎战。曹刿请求进见。他的同乡对他说：“大官们自会谋划这件事的，你又何必参与其间呢？”曹刿说：“大官们目光短浅，不能深谋远虑。”于是入宫进见鲁庄公。曹刿问鲁庄公：“您凭什么条件同齐国打仗？”庄公说：“衣食这类用来养生的东西，我不敢独自享用，一定把它分给别人。”曹刿回答说：“这是小恩小惠，不能遍及百姓，百姓是不会跟从您的。”庄公说：“祭祀用的牛羊、玉帛之类，我不敢虚报，一定对神诚实。”曹刿回答说：“这是小信用，还不能使神信任您，神是不会保佑您的。”庄公说：“对于大大小小的诉讼案件，我虽不能一一明察，一定能根据实情合理裁决。”曹刿回答说：“这是尽了本职的一类事情，可以凭这个条件打一仗。作战时请让我跟从您去。”<br>      鲁庄公和曹刿同乘一辆战车。在长勺和齐军作战。鲁庄公将要击鼓进军。曹刿说：“还不行。”齐军击鼓三次后，曹刿说：“可以击鼓进军了。”齐军被打得大败。鲁庄公将要下令驱车追击齐军，曹刿说：“还不行。”曹刿下车看了看地上齐军战车辗过的痕迹，又登上车前的横木远望齐军撤退的情况，说：“可以追击了。”于是追击齐军。<br>      已经战胜，鲁庄公问取胜的原因。曹刿回答说：“打仗是靠勇气的，第一次击鼓，能够振作士兵的勇气，第二次击鼓，士兵的勇气就衰弱了，第三次击鼓后士兵的勇气就消耗完了；他们的勇气已经完了，我们的勇气正旺盛，所以战胜了他们。但大国难以捉摸，恐怕有他们埋伏；我看到他们战车的车轮痕迹很乱，望见他们的军旗也已经倒下了，所以下令追击他们。” <!--v:3.2--> ]]></description>

<description><![CDATA[      黔无驴，有好事者船载以入。至则无可用，放之山下。虎见之，庞然大物也，以为神，蔽林间窥之。稍出近之，慭慭然，莫相知。    <br>      他日，驴一鸣，虎大骇，远遁；以为且噬己也，甚恐。然往来视之，觉无异能者；益习其声，又近出前后，终不敢搏。稍近益狎，荡倚冲冒。驴不胜怒，蹄之。虎因喜，计之曰，“技止此耳！”因跳踉大，断其喉，尽其肉，乃去。<br>      译：黔这个地方没有驴子，有个喜好多事的人用船运载了一头驴进入黔地。运到后却没有什么用处，便把它放置在山下。老虎见到它，一看原来是个巨大的动物，就把它当作了神。于是隐藏在树林中偷偷地窥探它。老虎渐渐地走出来接近它，很小心谨慎，不了解它是什么东西。<br>　　一天，驴子一声长鸣，老虎非常害怕，远远地逃走；认为驴子将要咬自己，非常恐惧。然而老虎来来往往地观察它，觉得驴子好像没有什么特殊的本领似的；渐渐地习惯了它的叫声，又靠近它前前后后地走动；但老虎始终不敢和驴子搏击。慢慢地，老虎又靠近了驴子，态度更为随便，碰擦倚靠、冲撞冒犯它。驴发怒，用蹄子踢老虎。老虎因此而欣喜，盘算此事，心想道：“驴子的本领只不过如此罢了！”于是跳跃起来，大声吼叫，咬断驴的喉咙，吃完了它的肉，才离去。<br> <!--v:3.2--> ]]></description>

<description><![CDATA[      世有伯乐，然后有千里马。千里马常有，而伯乐不常有；故虽有名马，只辱于奴隶人之手，骈死于槽枥之间，不以千里称也。<br>      马之千里者，一食或尽粟一石。食马者不知其能千里而食也；是马也，虽有千里之能，食不饱，力不足，才美不外见，且欲与常马等不可得，安求其能千里也？<br>      策之不以其道，食之不能尽其材，鸣之而不能通其意，执策而临之曰：“天下无马！”呜呼！其真无马邪？其真不知马也！<br>      译：世上有了伯乐，然后才会有千里马。千里马是经常有的，可是伯乐却不经常有。因此，即使是很名贵的马也只能在仆役的手下受到屈辱，跟普通的马一起死在马厩里，不能获得千里马的称号。<br>      日行千里的马，一顿或许能吃下一石粮食，喂马的人不懂得要根据它日行千里的本领来喂养它。这样的马虽有日行千里的能耐，却吃不饱，力气不足，它的才能和美好的素质也就表现不出来，想要跟普通的马相等尚且办不到，又怎么能要求它日行千里呢？<br>      鞭策它不按正确的方法，喂养又不足以使它充分发挥自己的才能，听它嘶叫却不懂得它的意思，拿着鞭子站在它跟前说：“天下没有千里马!”唉！难道果真没有千里马吗？其实是他们真不识得千里马啊！ <!--v:3.2--> ]]></description>

<description><![CDATA[      自三峡七百里中，两岸连山，略无阙处；重岩叠嶂，隐天蔽日，自非亭午分,夜不见曦月。 <br>      至于夏水襄陵，沿溯阻绝。或王命急宣，有时朝发白帝，暮到江陵，其间千二百里，虽乘奔御风不以疾也。 <br>      春冬之时，则素湍绿潭，回清倒影。绝巘多生怪柏，悬泉瀑布，飞漱其间。清荣峻茂，良多趣味。 <br>      每至晴初霜旦，林寒涧肃，常有高猿长啸，属引凄异，空谷传响，哀转久绝。故渔者歌曰：“巴东三峡巫峡长，猿鸣三声泪沾裳！” <br>      译：从三峡全长七百里中看，两岸山都是相连的，没有中断的地方。山岭重重叠叠，连绵不断，把太阳光和天空都遮蔽了。如果不是正午晚上，绝看不到太阳和月亮。<br>      到了夏天洪水暴涨满上山冈的时候，无论是上行还是下行，都被阻绝了，有时皇帝的诏书急需传达，那么，从白帝到江凌,虽有一千二百里之多，早上出发，晚上便到，即使乘飞奔的马，驾者烈风也没这样快。<br>      每当春冬的时候，白色的急流和碧绿的深谭，回旋着清波，倒影着两岸的景色。高高的山峰上生长着许多奇怪的柏树,悬崖上流下的瀑布，飞花四溅,在山峰和树林之间飞溅，水清、树荣、高山、草盛，确有许多趣味。 <br>      到秋天初晴下霜的早晨,树林萧瑟冷静,山涧寂静,猿猴啼啼的长叫，持续有很久，凄惨的声音异常，在山谷久久回荡，所以打渔的人说：“巴东三峡巫峡最长，听见猿声后，眼泪沾湿了衣服。” <!--v:3.2--> ]]></description>

<description><![CDATA[      水陆草木之花，可爱者甚蕃。晋陶渊明独爱菊。自李唐来，世人盛爱牡丹。予独爱莲之出淤泥而不染，濯清涟而不妖，中通外直，不蔓不枝，香远益清，亭亭净植，可远观而不可亵玩焉。予谓菊，花之隐逸者也；牡丹，花之富贵者也；莲，花之君子者也。噫！菊之爱，陶后鲜有闻。莲之爱，同予者何人？牡丹之爱，宜乎众矣。<br>      译文：水上地上各种草和木的花，可爱的是很多的。晋朝陶渊明唯独喜爱菊花。从唐朝以来，世上的人们非常喜爱牡丹。我唯独喜爱莲花，它从污泥中长出来，却不受到污染，在清水里洗涤过但是不显得妖媚，它的茎中间贯通，外形挺直，不牵牵连连，不枝枝节节的，香气远播，更加清香，笔直地洁净地立在那里，可以远远地观赏但是不能贴近去轻慢地玩弄啊。 <br>      我认为，菊花是花中的隐士；牡丹，是花中的富贵者；莲花，是花中的君子。<br>      唉！爱菊花的人，从陶渊明以后很少听到过。爱莲花的人，像我一样的人还有什么人呢？至于爱牡丹的人，人数当然就很多了！ <!--v:3.2--> ]]></description>

<title><![CDATA[I Have a Dream (by Martin Luther King, Jr.)]]></title>

<description><![CDATA[      I am happy to join with you today in what will go down in history as the greatest demonstration for freedom in the history of our nation. <br>      Five score years ago, a great American, in whose symbolic shadow we stand today, signed the Emancipation Proclamation. This momentous decree came as a great beacon light of hope to millions of Negro slaves who had been seared in the flames of withering injustice. It came as a joyous daybreak to end the long night of their captivity. <br>      But one hundred years later, the Negro still is not free. One hundred years later, the life of the Negro is still sadly crippled by the manacles of segregation and the chains of discrimination. One hundred years later, the Negro lives on a lonely island of poverty in the midst of a vast ocean of material prosperity. One hundred years later, the Negro is still languished in the corners of American society and finds himself an exile in his own land. And so we've come here today to dramatize a shameful condition. <br>      In a sense we've come to our nation's capital to cash a check. When the architects of our republic wrote the magnificent words of the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence, they were signing a promissory note to which every American was to fall heir. This note was a promise that all men, yes, black men as well as white men, would be guaranteed the &quot;unalienable Rights&quot; of &quot;Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.&quot; It is obvious today that America has defaulted on this promissory note, insofar as her citizens of color are concerned. Instead of honoring this sacred obligation, America has given the Negro people a bad check, a check which has come back marked &quot;insufficient funds.&quot; <br>      But we refuse to believe that the bank of justice is bankrupt. We refuse to believe that there are insufficient funds in the great vaults of opportunity of this nation. And so, we've come to cash this check, a check that will give us upon demand the riches of freedom and the security of justice. <br>We have also come to this hallowed spot to remind America of the fierce urgency of Now. This is no time to engage in the luxury of cooling off or to take the tranquilizing drug of gradualism. Now is the time to make real the promises of democracy. Now is the time to rise from the dark and desolate valley of segregation to the sunlit path of racial justice. Now is the time to lift our nation from the quicksands of racial injustice to the solid rock of brotherhood. Now is the time to make justice a reality for all of God's children. <br>      It would be fatal for the nation to overlook the urgency of the moment. This sweltering summer of the Negro's legitimate discontent will not pass until there is an invigorating autumn of freedom and equality. Nineteen sixty-three is not an end, but a beginning. And those who hope that the Negro needed to blow off steam and will now be content will have a rude awakening if the nation returns to business as usual. And there will be neither rest nor tranquility in America until the Negro is granted his citizenship rights. The whirlwinds of revolt will continue to shake the foundations of our nation until the bright day of justice emerges. <br>      But there is something that I must say to my people, who stand on the warm threshold which leads into the palace of justice: In the process of gaining our rightful place, we must not be guilty of wrongful deeds. Let us not seek to satisfy our thirst for freedom by drinking from the cup of bitterness and hatred. We must forever conduct our struggle on the high plane of dignity and discipline. We must not allow our creative protest to degenerate into physical violence. Again and again, we must rise to the majestic heights of meeting physical force with soul force. <br>      The marvelous new militancy which has engulfed the Negro community must not lead us to a distrust of all white people, for many of our white brothers, as evidenced by their presence here today, have come to realize that their destiny is tied up with our destiny. And they have come to realize that their freedom is inextricably bound to our freedom. <br>      We cannot walk alone. <br>      And as we walk, we must make the pledge that we shall always march ahead. <br>      We cannot turn back. <br>      There are those who are asking the devotees of civil rights, &quot;When will you be satisfied?&quot; We can never be satisfied as long as the Negro is the victim of the unspeakable horrors of police brutality. We can never be satisfied as long as our bodies, heavy with the fatigue of travel, cannot gain lodging in the motels of the highways and the hotels of the cities. We cannot be satisfied as long as a Negro in Mississippi cannot vote and a Negro in New York believes he has nothing for which to vote. No, no, we are not satisfied, and we will not be satisfied until &quot;justice rolls down like waters, and righteousness like a mighty stream.&quot; <br>      I am not unmindful that some of you have come here out of great trials and tribulations. Some of you have come fresh from narrow jail cells. And some of you have come from areas where your quest -- quest for freedom left you battered by the storms of persecution and staggered by the winds of police brutality. You have been the veterans of creative suffering. Continue to work with the faith that unearned suffering is redemptive. Go back to Mississippi, go back to Alabama, go back to South Carolina, go back to Georgia, go back to Louisiana, go back to the slums and ghettos of our northern cities, knowing that somehow this situation can and will be changed. <br>      Let us not wallow in the valley of despair, I say to you today, my friends. <br>And so even though we face the difficulties of today and tomorrow, I still have a dream. It is a dream deeply rooted in the American dream. <br><span style="filter: glow(color=#FFFF00,strength=3);color:#FFFFFF;display:inline-block;line-height:1.8em;">      I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: &quot;We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal.&quot; <br>      I have a dream that one day on the red hills of Georgia, the sons of former slaves and the sons of former slave owners will be able to sit down together at the table of brotherhood. <br>      I have a dream that one day even the state of Mississippi, a state sweltering with the heat of injustice, sweltering with the heat of oppression, will be transformed into an oasis of freedom and justice. <br>I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character. <br></span><wbr />      I have a dream today! <br>      I have a dream that one day, down in Alabama, with its vicious racists, with its governor having his lips dripping with the words of &quot;interposition&quot; and &quot;nullification&quot; -- one day right there in Alabama little black boys and black girls will be able to join hands with little white boys and white girls as sisters and brothers. <br>      I have a dream today! <br>      I have a dream that one day every valley shall be exalted, and every hill and mountain shall be made low, the rough places will be made plain, and the crooked places will be made straight; &quot;and the glory of the Lord shall be revealed and all flesh shall see it together.&quot;? <br>      This is our hope, and this is the faith that I go back to the South with. <br>      With this faith, we will be able to hew out of the mountain of despair a stone of hope. With this faith, we will be able to transform the jangling discords of our nation into a beautiful symphony of brotherhood. With this faith, we will be able to work together, to pray together, to struggle together, to go to jail together, to stand up for freedom together, knowing that we will be free one day. <br>      And this will be the day -- this will be the day when all of God's children will be able to sing with new meaning: <br>      My country 'tis of thee, sweet land of liberty, of thee I sing. <br>      Land where my fathers died, land of the Pilgrim's pride, <br>      From every mountainside, let freedom ring! <br>      And if America is to be a great nation, this must become true. <br>      And so let freedom ring from the prodigious hilltops of New Hampshire. <br>      Let freedom ring from the mighty mountains of New York. <br>      Let freedom ring from the heightening Alleghenies of <br>      Pennsylvania. <br>      Let freedom ring from the snow-capped Rockies of Colorado. <br>      Let freedom ring from the curvaceous slopes of California. <br>      But not only that: <br>      Let freedom ring from Stone Mountain of Georgia. <br>      Let freedom ring from Lookout Mountain of Tennessee. <br>      Let freedom ring from every hill and molehill of Mississippi. <br>      From every mountainside, let freedom ring. <br>      And when this happens, when we allow freedom ring, when we let it ring from every village and every hamlet, from every state and every city, we will be able to speed up that day when all of God's children, black men and white men, Jews and Gentiles, Protestants and Catholics, will be able to join hands and sing in the words of the old Negro spiritual: <br>      Free at last! free at last! <br>      Thank God Almighty, we are free at last! <br>P.S.相信很多人都听说过这篇演讲吧。我也不多说什么了。 <!--v:3.2--> ]]></description>
