Out of my 6 years of show experiences so far, it’s really not easy when you have to run from one award ceremony to another…
But it was a good experience… in each which I was playing a different role.
In the KAPPA X YOHO Awards, I was founder of SMG – I managed to receive 2 awards for my 7 month old label SMG, presented to me by Endo of Devilock! Thanks Endo, looks like we have alot more coming up for us than just the first DVLK x SMG collabo!
In the Global Chinese Music Awards, as a singer / songwriter, I had the honor to be presented with the following:
- Best Duet Song 2009
- Best Singapore Act 2009
- Top 5 Mandarin Male Vocalist 2009
- Best Male Vocalist 2009
Thanks to Kappa x YOHO, and the GCMA team for the love shown! You guys rock!
This was an important night for me, it’s another milestone in my life n career!

here’s a sample preview of what me and SMG’s been working on lately – a limited edition crossover project with DJ Tommy.
the vinyl mp3 album contains tracks featuring DJ Tommy with artists such as Edison Chen and MC Hot Dog.
Tommy and I also did a track together called 遙控 “iControl”.

October has been an exciting month, especially for Devilock as it celebrates its 13th Anniversary in Singapore…
For SMG, we celebrate our 7th month into the business and our first major collaboration with the japanese label.
The event is entitled ORDER and CHAOS, acknowledging the presence of order and chaos in life, and the need to bring balance to it.
Among sale of collaboration tees and caps, and presentation of artwork, designs and prints in SMUDGEstore, the event was ultimately a day and night party to gather fans and friends of the brands and culture.

I really look forward to next year’s World Expo as I believe it will mark another milestone in human technology. Personally, I do believe we are many steps closer to discovering and developing ways to the forth dimension. Something that really excites me.
