　　第一，有这么多互联网使用者的国家，有6000万写博客的人，你知道防火墙的事情吗?第二，我们是不是应该自由的使用TWITTER?

奥巴马:
　　首先让我说，我从来没有使用过TWITTER。我注意到一些年轻人，他们一直很忙，有各种各样的电子器材，很笨重。但是我还是非常相信技术的作用，非常重视开放性。在信息流动方面，我认为越是能够自由的信息流通，社会就变得越强，因为这样子，世界各地的公民能让自己的政府负责，有一个问责制度，他们自己会思考，这样会有新的想法，鼓励创造性。所以我一直是坚定的支持互联网开放的使用，我是非常支持不审查内容，在美国我过去谈过，这是我们的一个传统，我也认识到不同的国家有不同的传统，但是我可以告诉各位，在美国，我们有没有受限制的使用互联网的机会，这是我们力量的来源，也应该受到鼓励的。
　　但是我也应该很诚实的告诉各位，作为美国总统，有的时候我还是希望信息不是那么自由的流通，因为这样我就不需要听到人们在批评我，我认为很自然的。
　　在人处于一个实力地位的时候就会想到，你为什么这样说我，你这样说是很不负责的。可是真实的情况是这样，因为在美国信息是自由的，因为在美国有很多人批评我说各种各样的事情，但我还是认为，这样才会使得我们的民族制度变得更强，使我变成一个更好的领导人，因为它迫使我听到一些我不愿意听到的意见，也迫使我审查我正在做的事情，每天都要审查，要看我是不是真的为美国人民做我能做的最好的事情。所以我认为互联网现在已经变成一个更强的工具，可以让公民来参与。
　　实际上，我这次胜选，当了总统的一个原因之一我们能够动员很多年轻人，通过互联网来动员。刚开始的时候，没有人会想到我会赢，因为我们不是得到最富裕的支持者、政治上最有权利的人支持我们，可是人们通过互联网看到我们竞选，他们开始感到很兴奋，他们就组织起来成立一些竞选的活动、事件和集会，结果就产生了这些从下往上的一种行动，使我们很成功。
　　这不仅在政府和政治，在企业界一样。像Google这种公司，不到20年前，它只是两个年龄跟你们差不多一样的人创业，本来是科学的实验，后来因为互联网，他们能够创造一个产业，这个产业使得全世界各地的商业发生一场革命。
　　所以要不是有很自由的开放性，就像互联网所提供的开放性，那Google不会存在，所以我很支持一个做法，就是不要限制互联网的使用、接触或者像TWITTER这种信息技术，越开放越能够沟通，使全世界联系在一起。像我的两个女儿玛丽亚和娜塔莎，一个是11岁，一个是8岁，在她们的房间可以上网，通过互联网可以达到世界任何地方，可以学到她们想学的内容，这是她们巨大的力量，她们拥有这种力量，也有利于促进相互理解。
　　就像我刚才所说的，技术也有负面，恐怖分子也可以通过互联网做一些以前他们做不到的事情，有一些极端分子也可以动员。当然开放性肯定要付出某种代价，这是不能否认的。可是我想好的远远多于坏的，所以还是要保持开放是好的，这是我很高兴互联网也作为这个论坛的一部分。

　　美国总统奥巴马于2009年11月16日首次访华，第一站来到了中国的经济中心及金融之都上海。在他风趣幽默的讲话中，我们时时发现他的遣词造句就像是在回答一道道雅思口语的问题，在谈笑之间把很多看似艰深的考题一一挥斥，并不断激起听者的共鸣。现聊举数例，以供各位“烤鸭”在玩味中学习。
　　雅思考题一：What aspect of your hometown has changed a lot in recent years?
　　奥巴马答曰：Here in Shanghai, we see the growth that has caught the attention of the world – the soaring skyscrapers, the bustling streets and entrepreneurial activity。
　　点评：由于中国的大部分城市都在迅猛发展，因此就算你的家乡不是上海也一点儿没关系，只要很方便的把Shanghai改成你任意指定的家乡就是了。该回答最后的entrepreneurial是一个高难单词，可简单地替换成business或commercial，基本不影响原意。
　　雅思考题二：What do you think of American people?
　　奥巴马答曰：This is a common American impulse – the desire to reach for new horizons, and to forge new
partnerships that are mutually beneficial.
　　点评：建议把开头部分改成：I think most Americans have this impulse …，这样更能切题回答。如果觉得forge new partnerships比较难的话，你完全可以说build new relationships，也是非常地道的讲法。
　　雅思考题三：Do you think China has undergone great transformations? In what ways?
　　奥巴马答曰：China has lifted hundreds of millions of people out of poverty– an accomplishment unparalleled in
human history – while playing a larger role in global events。
　　点评：如果能在该回答的前面加上：Yes, of course. Within six decades, … 那就锦上添花了，把新中国建国60年来的伟大成就以奥巴马式的口吻描绘出来。雅思考官一听保管大跌眼镜！
　　雅思考题四：What should be done about climate change and global warming?
　　奥巴马答曰：The United States and China are the world's two largeste matters of greenhouse gases, of carbon that
is causing the planet too warm. So unless both countries are willing to take critical steps indealing with this issue, we will not be able to resolve it。
　　点评：最好能在这一回答的开始部分加入一个引子，来说明climate change and global warming与greenhousegases的关系。你可以说：Well, as we all know, greenhouse gas emissions arelargely responsible for climate change and global warming, and…，如此巧妙的过渡使奥巴马的话语成为我们攻克雅思口语的利器。另外，在他的讲话中充斥的外交辞令，如果能被我们学到一二，便足以和雅思考官进行周旋了。我列出几条，供大家参考：

“Li Lei和Han Meimei没在一起啊？”最近，一些“80后”们发现，曾是他们初中英语教材中两个主要人物的“Li Lei”和“Han Meimei”被一套新的英语教材沿用。但令人惊讶的是，新教材中的Li Lei和Han Meimei已不再是小朋友，而是跟着80后们一起步入了青年时代。Han Meimei更嫁作了他人妇！
这一情节令不少80后颇感意外和遗憾，因为按照他们的设想，“他们本应该是一对儿。”

LiLei and Han Meimei
Li Lei和Han Meimei是1990-2000年人教版的中学英语教材里的两个主角。在这套以家庭生活为情景模式的课本里，英国的Green家庭、加拿大的Read家庭与美国的King、Smith四个家庭与Li Lei、Han Meimei等几个十一、二岁的中国孩子一起，在书中展开了生活。在书里，Li Lei是一名中国男孩，虎头虎脑，看上去还相当有责任心。Han Meimei是一名中国女孩，留齐耳短发，严肃保守的同时又乖巧懂事，给人的感觉是个“小干部”。 　　
　　如今快二十年过去了，在人教社即将推出的一套新英语教材《派斯英语》中，步入而立之年的80后们再次发现了这些“老朋友”的身影，而他们也一同成长起来，Han Meimei还嫁给了一个新人物Han Gang，并育有两个孩子。
　　该教材的官网样书插图中，已为人妻的Han Meimei留着成熟时髦的短发，在厨房里和孩子们一起用早餐，忙前忙后俨然慈母模样。这一发现令80后们惊喜不已。一名80后笑着感慨道：“和Han Meimei一样，我现在也有小宝宝了！”

新教材两人长大了

　 书中人物关系引猜想 　　
　　如今的80后们多已成为上班族，有些已为人父母，再在新教材上见到Li Lei、Han Meimei等虚拟人物，引发了他们对于这些亲切如“初中同学”的人物的回味。
　 “这么多年过去了，Li Lei和Han Meimei之间到底发生了什么？”很多80后通过对当年课本里两人的对话和细节展开联想，“Jim、Li Lei、Lucy和Han Meimei曾有一段感情纠葛！Li Lei和Han Meimei是一对儿，Jim和Lucy分别暗恋Han Meimei和Li Lei。”当得知新教材中Han Meimei已经结婚，而新郎不是Li Lei时，许多80后表示不能接受，“她的孩子一个叫Han Keke, 一个叫Han Xixi，翻译过来就是——可可，惜惜，分明就是表达了她对不能嫁给Li Lei的可惜与无奈。”
总之新的续集教材里安排，引起了很多网友的普遍不满，觉得他们应该在一起才对，很久以前看到网上一篇帖子，图解了Li Lei，Han Meimei和Jim Green缠绵悱恻的三角恋故事，令人拍案叫绝，咱们那时候咋就没联想到这么一层呢？为了让大家回味得详细点，我先把教材前面彩页上的三大家族和其他人物的图片发上来。

上面有四幅图，三幅是三个家族：Green家族（英国人）、King家族（美国人）、Read家族（加拿大人），每幅都是父母和两个孩子一共四人。第一幅图则是五人：Li Lei、Han Meimei和LinTao，外加老师Miss Gao（Gao Hui）和Uncle Wang。
Green家族在书中风光无限，露脸机会最多，而且鸡犬升天，连鹦鹉Polly和小猫Mimi（我怎么没有印象？）都能频频上镜。其中Polly亮相次数之多令人咋舌，还能时刻留下经典名句，譬如"No news is good news!" "Polly,can you spell it's name?" "Yes,I can.P-O-L-L-Y."从那以后，凡是叫Polly的都是鹦鹉，鹦鹉都是叫Polly。大一的时候参加了一次为期两天的疯狂英语培训，一个男生上台就说自己叫Polly，结果众人哈哈大笑，上海的同学们不知道学的是什么教材，可是我记得很多省份的初中课本就是这一套，也难怪大家那么有共鸣。

相比之下，Read家族就比较惨了，只有一个Ann撑场面，Tom身为彩页上九个孩子之一，在书中几乎消失，真是够郁闷的。
Lucy和Lily是可爱的双胞胎姐妹，来自美国。两个人长得一模一样。开始的时候，两人都是同时出现，不过到后来，编者有意扩大她们之间的区别，也经常会单独出镜，有人说Lucy和Li Lei也有一腿……人类的YY智慧果然是无穷的。
那么，八卦从哪里来的呢？
Jim喜欢Han Meimei，LiLei也喜欢Han Meimie，但是Lucy喜欢Li Lei——普遍的意见。有人还列出了证据，就是有一课：“Can I borrow your ruler?”Han Meimie问Li Lei借尺子，两人坐一排，然后Jim在后面看着他们，眼神十分诡异，就是夹杂着嫉妒，羡慕阴险的目光……然后他旁边坐着Lucy，低着头，大概是因为Lucy不愿意看到面前的这一幕，因为是女生，不可能象Jim这么感情外露的……印象比较深的还有Li Lei和Jim玩飞盘那次，Jim把Li Lei的头给砸了，大家都觉得Jim是成心这么做的，因为这个事情发生在借尺子事件没多久之后。
但是感觉Jim爱Han Meimei比较多，因为Li Lei后来变心爱上了Lucy，而Han Meimie一直喜欢的都是Li Lei。有图为证：


摘苹果
当年Han Meimei课外劳动摘苹果，和树下的李帅哥眉来眼去有点得意忘形了，此时被冷落一边的Jim大叫一声：“Be careful！”由此，关爱之情可见一斑。而Han Meimei除了简单报以“Thank you”之外，居然又自得其乐地跟李帅哥开始了聊天…… 其实这一段我已经记不清了，是网友们八出来的，图片里也没有看见Li Lei。
今天看来，很不喜欢李同学，长得太根正苗红了，活脱脱一个少年先锋队长，还是Jim好些，好动，经常抱着滑板啊球啊什么的。Han Meimei长得也太妇女干部了，不过作为当仁不让的第一女主角，忍了，中国人当然要挺中国人。那么谁是第一男主角呢？有个网友疯了一把，有一天把6本书都翻出来，从头到尾数了一遍，发现Jim的出境率稳居第一，虽然比较令同胞们失望，不过看在那本天才的出版社在那么闭塞的年代就编纂出了一出伟大的跨国恋，就不计较了吧。

其实有些东西真的很难忘，现在好多初中同学都没有再联系了，连名字和相貌也渐渐淡出了记忆，不过这些名字，听上去却好象是真实存在于我们生活中的一样。感谢各位网友，不遗余力地八卦，在我忘却了那么多年以后，还能找到一点温暖。

第一个内容点 句型的应用：
通知， 宣布消息的句型：
1. I am delighted/glad/happy to announce that/notify you that/inform you that/tell you that/ let you know that formal to informal 宣布好消息
2. Please be informed /be advised that/note that/ formal to informal 但消息的类型比较中性
3．We are afraid that…/ We are sorry to inform you/We regret to inform you宣布坏消息
这里不用announce，因为之前说过尽量不要抄题干的单词， 请换词， 换词也是bec写作中的一个重要考核技能—“丰富的词汇”。

这里有三点
1．用we而不用I，因为在商务写作里， 可以用we的地方， 尽量用we.因为， 商务里更偏爱团队的口吻。
2． 用被动 表示更正式， 而主动是更偏向 意愿。
3． 具体时间的表达和他们的介词。 At + 具体几点 （一定要说明am or pm或者用24小时制）， on + 具体的日子（几月几号， 星期几）， in + 年， 月。
第二个内容点：
All staff with company are welcomed。(with company比 with partner更正式)
第三：
The programmes available are given/shown below:
A three-course dinner, dance, and raffle. 商务常识：不要写24-26， 因为不会有人去公司的party, 一般schedule 在13-20左右
补充：对于数字的写法， 10以上的用Arabic digit, 10以下用英文。0， 7，的手写体。

内容点顺序：这里，应该先解释了为什么需要samples才提出要求---2-1-3
第二个（2nd） 内容点：

对时间， 还可以用by, before.
或者你对长句没信心，可以把上面分成两个句子

请求的句型：

3. do you think you could possibly do…
2. 3一般客气

4．5非常客气和正式， 对上司， 对客户。
字数问题
另外一个习惯就是， 养成数字数的习惯， 每写完一段/一句， 粗略估计一下字数。 因为考试时， 只要内容点包括了， 基本上是不会少字的， 怕就只怕写太多， 包含了一些多余的信息。 一般part1不要超过55， part2， 150。

套句型
the key findings from the table are outlined below:
no matter in “value for money”, “reliability”, “after-sales service” or advertising”, we still have a lot of space to improve compared with shikei (所谓的自己的见解). Only in “product availability” , we are better than them. However, this reveals our product is less popular than shikei from the other side (自己的见解).
Conclusion & Recommendation
这里要从每个点里出发， 得出结论。 如果好像 答案 里， 得出这么综合性的建议。 其实对同学没有什么实际作用， 因为大家都不是专业人士， 没什么实际的工作经验。

the report I am submitting aims to have some rough ideas of the future investment in the local retail market.
