The 21st century is a time of advanced scientific and technological knowledge. Therefore, the problems about the education attract people’s more attention. Nowadays the issue of whether or not the school learners travel or work for a period of time instead of going directly to university has been debated in the society. Quite a few people support it, and they claim that it will be beneficial to people’s future. On the other hand, a majority of people argue it. Now I want to compare positive and negative effects of this issue.

Undoubtedly, there are considerable upsides of the school learners not to go to university directly but spend a period time to travel and work. To begin with, as we know that we have already learnt lots of theories when we were in senior high school, we always depended on parents to do everything. Going to travel or work can help us to become independence and a sense of responsibility. Lastly, a incomparable advantage is that we can find work experience and some shortcomings of ourselves during this period. And these can help us to study more effective when we go back school.

As the proverb goes: every coin has its two sides.” The students leave school to travel or work is no exception, it also has some drawbacks. Firstly, if we spend a lot of time to travel or work, we will lose the golden time to study. And it is very difficult for this group of people to remember all the theories when they go back school. Secondly, just graduate from the senior high school, we are not real maturity, and if we enter the society at this time, we will make many mistakes, these mistakes will be harmful to the future of us.

We have crossed the threshold of the 21st century and the curtain of the new millennium is slowly rising. We are blessed with new opportunities and faced brand challenges. As far as I am concerned, one of the most essential problems is low education quality in school, and this issue has already widely debated in the society. Quite a few people, especially some parents complain that the teachers always make mistakes, and they claim that we should encourage students to evaluate and criticize their teachers. On the other hand, some people argue this viewpoint.

There is no denying, there are considerable positive effects by students evaluate their teacher’ mistakes in or after class. Furthermore, it can make some pressure on the teachers, which is beneficial to the teachers to avoid some unnecessary mistakes during the class. The last but not the least, encouraging the students to criticize the wrong things which make by teachers, can let them know that everybody is equal and sometimes they are stronger than teacher. It can make them become more self-confidence.

However, even sun has its dark side, encouraging students to evaluate their teachers is no exception. To begin with, it will lead to a loss of respect and discipline in the classroom and the teachers will lose the prestige in students’ heart. Therefore, teachers maybe cannot dominate the students. In addition, if the students always find teachers mistakes, they will become over confidence, that is to be conceited. It is not beneficial for students’ future.

Weighing the two sides of this issue, after pondering logically, I support to encourage students to correct their teachers.
