There were about 100 peples on this trip, 3 school buses( bus with special yellow color.which you can see on the TV). We went for the foliage, which Vermont is famous for. It turned out that this was a long but not that funny trip. it took 4 fours for one single trip and the maple leaves do not turn red yet in that region. Anyway, we spend some good time in farm musum and the downtown (other people went hiking instead). Here are some nice pictures.

The Orchard is good, there are all kinds of fresh apples on the trees. We picked two bags of apples about 40 lbs ($0.89/lb). Unfortunately, we forgot to bring the camera :(((((.

before road test, you need to go to a driving school and take the 5-hour course.(White Plains, Augest 2008)




if you pass the road test, the examer issue you this slip as a temporal driver license.It also tells you what mistake you made and how many point are taken offif you lose 30 points, then you fail. I lost 20 points -|-).(September 24,2008)

It is pretty convenient without a car. After the qualified exams, I am expecting more free time and being able to travel out of twon.

To get a driver's license, first, you need to apply the learner permit only after that you are allowed to learn driving accompanied by a driver more than 21 year old. Then take the pre-licensing course. Finaly, take the road test.

I took the test with TJ this morning at around 11:00 am, we also passed.

3. When you are ready for the permit test, just bring the form and the following documents(Passport+I-94+I-20 as proof of Date of birth (also part of proof of Name; Social Security CARD with signature + CreditCard as proof of Name)---Or check the latest ID-requirement in the instruction the clerk gave you.
4. Fill in MV-44(you can take it from the DMV)
5. Take the photo before test at DMV.
6. Take the eye test at the counter, there is a paper containing lines of letters. You will be asked to read a certain line(for me, NO. 7). Then a test paper(written test) and a pencil are given to you. There are 4 seats, take one and fill the correct answer with pencil. There are 20 questions(14 of 20 are required). The road signs are given on the chart posted on the wall just in front of you (power off your cell phone).
7. As you finish, bring the paper back to the clerk, she will evaluate your answers and let you know if you pass. They put your name, class, address on your “Interim permit”. You keep this permit. You will receive your learner permit by mail in 2 weeks.
8. The fees are 52.00 including Photo document fees 20, License fee 22 and application 10.

Thanks God and TJ, finally I had the chance to taste fresh fish. Though there are fish at the supermaket, I do not know how to cook. It took much longer than I expected. I started from 10PM, ending at 10:50. It was a good experience. Believe it or not, it tasted not that bad.

Right after the Valentine's Day, there is a concert holding downtown try. Moreover, it is free.The salse prices for the tickets are $23,$37$46. TJ got two and we decided to enjoy it. We took bus route 90. The nice driver showed us the direction. The hall is not very spacious, but almost all the seats were sold. Most of the audients are senior people.It started at about 8:01 and ended at 10:15pm..I liked this concert.
